PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Team People at The World Bank - Washington, DC July 2019 - December 2021

Photographer

As a Photographer for Team People, I was positioned at The World Bank in downtown DC, and my duties included: conducting event and passport/visa photography (in-person and virtually); editing photo assignments, including live-editing at events; printing and scanning images; creative project management; project and client billing; assisting the Photolab's senior photographers with lighting and shoot setup; SOP management; and working with World Bank clients to assess their photography needs.

Greenpeace USA - Washington, DC                August 2016 - September 2019

     Contributing Photographer

Photographing Greenpeace actions and related events nationwide and abroad

Photo Intern June 2016 - August 2016

As the photo intern, I assisted the Deputy Photo Editor and Director of Communications with daily assignments, developed a personal photography project, managed the online photo database and metadata, responded to image requests, and scanned slides and negatives from the archives. I also photographed staff portraits, Greenpeace actions, and rallies, protests, and major newsworthy events on the East coast. On a weekly basis, I participated in departmental meetings to stay up to date on current GP campaigns, and also collaborated with other departments on behalf of the Visuals Team.

de Young Museum and Legion of Honor - San Francisco, CA                   April 2016 - June 2016

     Event Programs Photographer

"Friday Nights at the de Young" is a free, weekly event where visitors can explore the entirety of the museum while enjoying live music and drinks. My duties included photographing these weekly events, as well as photographing the installation in the Kimball Gallery for the monthly Artist-in-Residence program.

Click Scan Share - Lafayette, CA                October 2015 - May 2016

     Photo Technician

At this small, but fast-paced, store, I was in charge of the Photo Department. It was essential that I accurately organize and manage customer projects and files. My daily duties involved digitizing photos and album pages using Kodak, Epson, and Konica scanners; scanning slides and negatives; and editing and restoring photos with Photoshop. When my coworkers in other departments needed help, I converted videos to DVDs in the Video Department and printed photos, posters, etc. in the Printing Department. I was also expected to help customers whenever they entered the store, by answering their questions, assembling their projects, working with them on the kiosks, and ringing up their orders.
